If you’re searching for AHA CPR classes, BLS certification, or advanced courses like ACLS and PALS, selecting an American Heart Association (AHA) Authorized Training Center is one of the most important decisions you can make. At Respond Right EMS Academy, we are proud to serve our community as an AHA-authorized training center—providing trusted, nationally recognized certification courses for healthcare professionals, first responders, and the general public.
Whether you’re renewing a certification or taking a life-saving course for the first time, here’s what you can expect from our training programs, policies, and standards.
AHA Provider Courses Offered at Respond Right EMS Academy
We offer the full suite of AHA provider-level courses designed to prepare students with the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to act in emergencies:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
For healthcare providers, this course covers high-quality CPR, AED use, and team-based resuscitation.
CPR & First Aid Courses
Perfect for workplace requirements or general preparedness, this course teaches essential life-saving skills for adults, children, and infants.
Family & Friends CPR
A non-certification course ideal for parents, caregivers, and community members who want to learn hands-only CPR and basic emergency steps.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
For advanced providers, ACLS focuses on managing adult cardiac arrest, stroke, airway emergencies, and more.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
PALS prepares providers to manage emergencies involving infants and children.
Each course follows AHA’s evidence-based guidelines and uses official AHA educational materials to ensure consistency and quality.
Understanding Our Cancellation & Transfer Policy
We know that schedules change, but because spots in AHA courses are limited and require material preparation, we follow a clear and fair policy:
More than 3 business days before your course:
- Cancellation: Refund issued minus a 5% refund fee
- Rescheduling: Transfer to another class for a $25 fee
0–3 business days before your course:
- Cancellation: Tuition is non-refundable
- Rescheduling: Not available
All refunds incur a 5% fee to cover processing costs.
Respond Right EMS Academy may cancel a course if minimum enrollment is not met; if this occurs, students are notified promptly and offered alternatives.
Important AHA Policy Notice
The AHA strongly promotes both knowledge and proficiency in all its courses. While we use official AHA instructional materials, the AHA does not sponsor or conduct the courses directly.
Any course fees collected—other than the cost of AHA materials—do not represent income to the American Heart Association.
