What Is AHA Heartcode BLS?
The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartcode BLS course is the new standard in BLS training.
It combines:
✔ Part 1 – Online learning (100% AHA approved)
✔ Part 2 – In-person Skills Session (completed in under 2 hours)
This flexible format allows healthcare professionals and students to complete coursework on their schedule and then demonstrate skills with an instructor.

How Long Is the AHA BLS Certification Valid?
Your AHA BLS card is valid for 2 years.
We recommend renewing before your expiration date to avoid employment or clinical delays. The expiration date will be printed directly on your official American Heart Association course completion card. Once that date passes, your certification is considered expired and may no longer meet employer, hospital, or school requirements.
What to Expect on Class Day
To ensure a smooth experience:
- Arrive 5–10 minutes early
- Class starts on time
- Doors lock 5 minutes after start time
- Bring any required documentation
Minimum age to attend: 16 years old
Students under 18 must submit a signed parental release form prior to class.
Cancellation & Transfer Policy (Important)
✔ Cancel more than 3 business days before class
Refund minus 5% processing fee.
✔ Reschedule more than 3 business days before class
$25 transfer fee applies.
✔ Cancel within 0–3 business days
Course cost is forfeited. No rescheduling.
