What is the Hybrid EMT Course?

The Hybrid EMT Course combines self-paced online learning with hands-on skills labs and clinicals at Respond Right EMS Academy.

How long does the course take to complete?

Students have 16 weeks to complete all coursework, skills labs, and clinicals. No extensions are granted.

What are the enrollment steps?

1. Register and pay tuition online 2. Complete the Application Packet 3. Receive an official acceptance letter with course dates 4. Order books & sign up for EMS testing 5. Begin the course.

RREMSA EMS 50: Medical Terminology for EMS

This is an extremely helpful entry-level course designed to prepare students waiting to take an EMT Course. Students will build their medical vocabulary, learn about body systems, and prefixes, suffixes, and root words. Those who attend this course will find they have a head start in their EMS education and the confidence needed to succeed in the EMT School.

Registration

Open to anyone 18 years of age or older. High school Seniors and juniors will also be considered with written parental permission.

Class Schedule:

Class meets on Mondays from 1 pm to 5 pm for 10 weeks. Upon successful completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.
