AHA BLS INSTRUCTOR MONITORING
AHA BLS Instructor Monitoring is a mandatory American Heart Association (AHA) process in which a Training Center Faculty (TCF) member evaluates a new instructor candidate teaching a full, live class within 6 months of their instructor course to ensure they meet standards. BLS Instructor Monitoring validates skills, confirms adherence to lesson plans, and is required for completion of the BLS Instructor course to receive certification. It is also required for a current BLS Instructor during the BLS Instructor renewal process.

Requirements: To verify readiness for AHA BLS Instructor monitoring, you must provide:
- Current AHA BLS Provider card.
- Completed the AHA Instructor Candidate Application. You will receive this once you are registered so check your email.
- Copy of your completed BLS Instructor Essentials Certificate of Completion online course.
- Proof of BLS Instructor Course completion.
- Accepted Alignment with a Training Center (TC) confirmed in the AHA Atlas system.
