Medical Terminology For EMS
RREMSA EMT 50: Medical Terminology for EMS is an introductory course that teaches Emergency Medical Services students the language used in healthcare and prehospital care. Students learn common medical terms, abbreviations, prefixes, suffixes, root words, and body system terminology to improve communication, documentation, and patient care in emergency settings.

Description
Audience
Open to anyone 18 years of age or older. High school seniors will also be considered with parental consent. Seats are limited to 18, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Schedule
Classes meet on Mondays from 1 pm to 5 pm, for 8 weeks. Upon successful completion, students will receive a “Certificate of Completion.”
